AGM: 31 July 2019, Wednesdaay, 7:00 pm Ashhurst Community Library Meeting Room

(through the picket fence off Bamfield St. and up the wheelchair ramp).

LEAP will be holding its AGM on Wednesday, 31 July 2019, 7:00 p.m. start.

We encourage new participation. We will be electing our board members including officers, considering rule changes, and discussing LEAP's strategic direction.

Two major options are on the table:

  1. will new leaders help us deliver on a 2019-20 Ashhurst Community Market season, potentially helping us develop other projects and programmes as well, or
  2. will our committed long-term volunteer team "hold the space" by maintaining the resources and basic processes necessary for our ongoing initiatives, such as our directory and LOAVES currency? (These resources include contact people for updates and informations, financial resources and processes, web services, etc.)

Please come along and help us decide!

Request a free online business listing!

LEAP volunteers are standing by to update our local business directory. Listings are free to businesses and community groups that are based in Ashhurst and the Pohangina Valley. The online directory will be used as the foundation of a new print directory when resources allow.

If you wish to request a business or community group listing, please fill in this form

If you wish an update to a current listing, please get in touch, directory@loaves.org.nz.

You can search our current online directory at this link.

Invitation to participate in LEAP, market, and other projects

LEAP is a volunteer-led organisation, and we would welcome additional volunteers. We have a decent team of support volunteers, but we need leadership (first of all, an active Chairperson) to stay active in the community. Please come to our 31 July AGM if you are interested in learning more (see notice above).
